1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules and conditions governing your use of all products, services, platforms, and infrastructure provided by MissionOpsAI Ltd ("MissionOpsAI", "we", "us", or "our"), including but not limited to the Foundry platform, M-Suite, associated APIs, documentation, and any hosted environments (collectively, the "Services").
This AUP applies to all users of the Services, including customers, their authorised end users, partners, and any person or system that accesses or interacts with the Services. By accessing or using any of the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. This AUP supplements and forms part of our Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our platform or by email to account administrators. Continued use of the Services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
2. Permitted Use
The Services are designed for lawful business operations, including the deployment, management, governance, and monitoring of AI systems within your organisation. You may use the Services for:
- Deploying and managing AI agents and workflows within your authorised environments
- Processing data that you have the legal right to process, in accordance with applicable data protection laws
- Configuring governance, approval, and audit controls for your AI operations
- Integrating the Services with your authorised third-party systems via documented APIs
- Generating reports, analytics, and audit trails for your internal compliance and operational purposes
All use must be consistent with the purpose for which the Services are designed, your applicable subscription tier, and any additional terms agreed in your service agreement.
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Services, or permit them to be used, for any of the following purposes or activities:
3.1 Illegal or Unlawful Use
- Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, including but not limited to the UK Computer Misuse Act 1990, the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, the Fraud Act 2006, and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions
- Processing personal data without a lawful basis, or in violation of data subjects' rights
- Facilitating money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any other financial crime
- Any use that would cause MissionOpsAI to be in breach of its own legal or regulatory obligations
3.2 Reverse Engineering and Intellectual Property Violations
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying architecture of the Services
- Copying, reproducing, or creating derivative works of any part of the Services except as expressly permitted by your licence agreement
- Removing, altering, or obscuring any proprietary notices, labels, or markings on the Services
- Using the Services to develop a competing product or service, or to benchmark the Services for competitive purposes without prior written consent
- Scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of data from the Services beyond the scope of documented APIs
3.3 Harmful, Abusive, or Objectionable Content
- Using the Services to generate, store, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, or discriminatory
- Deploying AI agents or models that produce deliberately misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent outputs
- Using the Services to create deepfakes, synthetic media, or AI-generated content intended to deceive, manipulate, or cause harm
- Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other malicious code through the Services
- Using the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Services or interfere with any other party's use
3.4 Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Services
- Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with any security features, access controls, authentication mechanisms, or governance safeguards
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Services or any associated infrastructure without prior written authorisation
- Intercepting, monitoring, or modifying network traffic to or from the Services without authorisation
- Sharing account credentials, API keys, or authentication tokens with unauthorised parties
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass approval workflows, risk tier controls, or audit mechanisms built into the platform
3.5 Excessive or Abusive Resource Consumption
- Using the Services in a manner that consumes disproportionate or excessive resources, including compute, storage, bandwidth, or API calls, beyond the limits of your subscription tier
- Automated or scripted access patterns designed to stress-test, overload, or degrade the performance of the Services
- Reselling, sublicensing, or providing access to the Services to third parties without express written authorisation
- Operating cryptocurrency mining, torrent hosting, or similar resource-intensive activities on the Services
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and within your organisation's environments on the Services. This includes:
- Credentials security: You must maintain the confidentiality of all account credentials, API keys, and access tokens. You must use strong, unique passwords, enable multi-factor authentication where available, and rotate credentials in accordance with security best practices.
- Authorised users: You must ensure that only authorised individuals have access to your accounts and environments. You are responsible for provisioning and de-provisioning user access promptly, including upon employee departure or role change.
- User conduct: You are responsible for ensuring that all users within your organisation comply with this AUP. You must take reasonable steps to educate your users about their obligations under this policy.
- Prompt reporting: You must immediately notify MissionOpsAI of any unauthorised use of your account, any suspected security breach, or any other breach of this AUP that comes to your attention.
- Accurate information: You must provide accurate and up-to-date registration and contact information and keep this information current throughout your use of the Services.
5. Monitoring and Enforcement
MissionOpsAI reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor use of the Services for compliance with this AUP. We may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and take appropriate action, which may include:
- Requesting additional information or documentation to assess compliance
- Issuing warnings or formal notices of violation
- Temporarily suspending access to some or all of the Services pending investigation
- Removing or disabling content or configurations that violate this AUP
- Permanently terminating access to the Services
- Reporting violations to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities
Monitoring activities may include automated analysis of usage patterns, audit log review, and security scanning. Any monitoring will be conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, whether by yourself, another user, or a third party, you should report it promptly. Violations can be reported to:
When reporting a violation, please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, the identity of the parties involved (if known), and any supporting evidence. We will treat all reports confidentially to the extent permitted by law and will not retaliate against anyone who reports a violation in good faith.
7. Consequences of Breach
Violation of this AUP may result in one or more of the following consequences, at MissionOpsAI's sole discretion and depending on the severity and nature of the violation:
- Warning: A written notice identifying the violation and requiring immediate remediation
- Suspension: Temporary suspension of your access to some or all of the Services, with or without notice, pending investigation or remediation
- Termination: Permanent termination of your account and access to the Services, in accordance with the termination provisions of your service agreement
- Data preservation: Preservation of data and logs related to the violation for investigation and legal purposes
- Legal action: Pursuit of any available legal remedies, including claims for damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of costs
- Law enforcement referral: Referral of the matter to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law or deemed appropriate
Where practicable, we will provide notice before taking enforcement action and give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy the violation. However, we reserve the right to take immediate action without notice where the violation poses a threat to the security, integrity, or availability of the Services, or where required by law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MissionOpsAI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your violation of this AUP, your use of the Services in breach of this AUP, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
9. Relationship with Other Agreements
This AUP forms part of your agreement with MissionOpsAI and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any applicable service agreement or order form. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail unless this AUP imposes a more restrictive obligation.
